New customer information requirements

To assess your customer's rental vehicle fleet, we require key operational, claims and policy information to support an accurate and efficient review.

  • Confirm the client's business occupation and operating model.
  • Provide a list of all rental and vehicle storage locations, including:
    • the percentage of the fleet located at each risk address
    • the percentage of the fleet stored undercover
    • whether hail nets are in place at each location
  • Provide up-to-date claims data on the insurer's letterhead for the past five years, or from the commencement of trading if longer.
  • Provide a current fleet list in spreadsheet format. For any trucks over 5 tonnes or heavy commercial vehicles, including refrigerated vehicles and mine-spec 4WDs, please also include the total market value of each vehicle, including any permanently attached accessories.
  • Confirm the average fleet size over the past five years.
  • Confirm the client's policy excess for the past five years.
  • Provide a copy of the client's rental agreement, including terms and conditions, for our review and approval.
